Engine Mechanic - Manual Repair & Inspection

Tasks
We are seeking a skilled Engine Mechanic – Manual Repair & Inspection – to perform
- on maintenance, repairs, and detailed inspections of engine components. This role is key to ensuring safety, reliability and compliance with aviation standards.
Responsibilities and Tasks including but not limited to the following:
- Assembly and disassembly of engine parts and accessories
- Inspection and repair of engine parts and accessories
- Perform necessary tests to ensure the proper function of the parts and accessories within the engine system
- Structure, planning, and scheduling complex work and technical processes
- Visual and dimensional inspection of engine components and assemblies, taking into account/complying with all official/customs regulations
- Evaluating/documenting test results in accordance with valid (customer) instructions, guidelines and regulations
- Identifying/initiating additional investigations and necessary repairs to components

To ensure the highest standards of aviation safety and reliability, the ideal candidate for the Engine Mechanic– Manual Repair & Inspection role must possess strong technical skills and attention to detail.
- Very good written and spoken Portuguese and English skills
- Very good computer skills (MS Office, SAP, etc. )
- Vocational training in metalworking trades such as automotive or aircraft mechanic, materials tester, industrial mechanic, precision mechanic, plumber, locksmith, toolmaker, metalworker
- Relevant experience in quality control of components
- Proficient with measuring equipment and instruments
- AML certification (comparable to EASA/FAA/TCCA) is an advantage
- Part 147, OEM, or recognized maintenance organization certificate is an advantage
