Engineering Director, Adoption at Cloudflare leads the engineering efforts behind Cloudflare's dashboard and cloudflare.com, and will play a central role in helping Cloudflare grow 5x over the next five years. Alongside Product Management, your mission is to enhance customer and prospect engagement with our products and the company as a whole. We are looking for candidates who live within 50 miles of our hub office locations.

Role and Approach
As the Director of Engineering: Adoption, you will lead the engineering efforts behind Cloudflare's dashboard and cloudflare.com, and will play a central role in helping Cloudflare grow 5x over the next five years. Alongside your Product Management counterparts, your mission is to enhance customer and prospect engagement with our products and the company as a whole. We are looking for candidates who live within 50 miles of our hub office locations. You'll tackle challenges such as:
- Enhancing the Cloudflare Dashboard: provide a platform to deliver exceptional user experiences; maintain a tech stack and design language that empowers innovation; manage contention so a growing organization can contribute to the mission.
- Driving Adoption and Upselling: educate customers and prospects about offerings, encourage onboarding, measure progress, and enable
- functional contributions across Cloudflare’s web properties. - Managing Adjacent Costs: effectively manage cost drivers like customer support and outbound sales while ensuring a positive impact.
- Serving Diverse Customer Needs: meet API- and Terraform-based users’ needs without compromising innovation velocity.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 15+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 8 years in leadership roles.
- Demonstrated excellence in building
- facing UX in an enterprise setting. - Proven track record of driving organizational excellence and making tough decisions when necessary.
