You will own the end‑to‑end delivery process, ensuring our products are built to modern development standards while fostering a culture of excellence and velocity. This office role is based in Alvalade, Lisbon.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the delivery of high‑quality software: lead technical direction, ensuring timely delivery, business alignment, and top software quality.
• Optimize development processes: continuously review and improve the lifecycle to increase efficiency and reduce bottlenecks.
• Coach and mentor developers: provide hands‑on technical guidance, mentorship, and support to foster professional growth and engineering excellence.
• Ensure modern development standards: promote and implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code reviews, and clean coding principles.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams: work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to align technical decisions with business goals.
• Technical leadership: make critical decisions around architecture, tools, and frameworks to ensure long‑term scalability and maintainability.
• Stay updated with industry trends: explore new technologies and methodologies, especially rapid AI‑prototype ideas.

About You

• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, Senior Software Engineer, or similar.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across the organisation.
• Analytical mindset to develop fit‑for‑purpose technical solutions.
• Excellent leadership, decision‑making, and project‑management skills.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure, architecture, and non‑technical business aspects.
• Comfortable working in an international environment.

Skills Required

• Experience through design, development, release cycle, and delivery of software products as an individual and tech leader.
• Experience managing Saa
  S and cloud‑based application development.
• Technical stack: Python, Nuxt/Vue
  JS, Postgre
  SQL on AWS.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English (required).
