T, automotive, and aviation using the
- generation secure embedded Linux operating system. We focus on reliable and secure device recovery mechanisms to help device manufacturers simplify and standardize field operations for heterogeneous fleets.
As an engineering manager, you'll lead a team of skilled software developers to design and implement Ubuntu Core system software across various CPU architectures such as ARM, RISC-V, and X86. You will engage with stakeholders, prioritize requests, plan the roadmap, and ensure your team meets its goals. You will have the opportunity to influence company culture, facilitate technical delivery, and work on strategy and execution with your team.

- Build and lead a distributed team of engineers through hiring, coaching, mentoring, feedback, and career development.
- Contribute directly to your team's goals by demonstrating sound engineering principles.
- Support the timely delivery of technical solutions to meet business needs.
- Manage expectations effectively with other engineering teams, senior management, and external stakeholders.
- Advocate for and implement modern, agile software development practices.
- Foster a healthy, collaborative engineering culture aligned with company values.
- Participate actively in leadership discussions and collaborate with other leaders.
- Work remotely with global travel twice a year for company events.

- Holds a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, STEM, or similar.
- Has experience with embedded software development.
- Proficient in Golang, C/C++, and Shell scripting.
- Has a solid understanding of Linux, preferably Debian or Ubuntu.
