Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering with a strong backend background
- 2 different roles and an overall of 5+ years of experience as a team leader, preferably in dynamic,
- paced companies - Excellent knowledge of software design and scalable web architecture
- Experience developing Saa
S products hosted in a cloud platform like AWS or equivalent - People person with strong leadership skills who can build a winning team
- Independent, resourceful, and proactive team player with a desire to impact our team, our product, and our customers
- Great communication skills in English
- Please note that this job requires physical presence at Hi
Bob office in Lisbon
Will be a plus
- Experience in building Partners API
- Experience developing data processing applications, knowledge of ETL, different databases
- Experience developing a product from scratch
- Experience with C# / Kotlin
- Experience developing an FP&A/ payments /HR related product
- Having both backend and frontend development experience
- Strong understanding of data modelling, database design, and query optimisation
Responsibilities
- Lead a
- functional engineering team responsible for developing Hi
Bob’s financial planning applications - Build scalable backend architecture and intuitive user interfaces for complex financial logic and scenario modelling
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data Engineering teams to ensure a seamless,
- rich user experience - Drive the full development lifecycle — from concept to deployment — for new features and core platform components
- Mentor team members, promote best engineering practices, and foster a culture of ownership and innovation
- Partner with stakeholders to shape technical strategy and roadmap
