About the role

Side is currently recruiting a Polish Translator for our global translation operation. We're looking for candidates with advanced language skills and
- depth cultural knowledge of Polish.

You will be responsible for accurately translating video game content and acting as an interpreter to convert other related text into Polish from English. You will follow
- specific guidelines to ensure
- quality translations and adherence to all relevant conventions. You will work as part of a team of language specialists to produce
- quality translations, either by translating or reviewing documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create or assist in creating glossaries and style guides following
  - defined client guidelines.
• Create or assist in creating characterization documents.
• Carry out translation work following provided guidelines and instructions, including First Party terminology.
• Carry out revision work following provided guidelines and instructions, including First Party terminology.
• Work as part of a larger team of translators or revisers.
• Provide linguistic feedback for work carried out externally.
• Meet deadlines and maintain
  - standard productivity levels.

Requirements

• Native-level fluency in Polish and English.
• Strong cultural understanding of Polish culture.
• Experience within the translation industry or working professionally as a translator is a plus.
• Knowledge of business software applications (e. g. , Microsoft Office, memo
  Q, Plunet) is an advantage.
• Proactive with clear and effective communication skills (verbal and written).
• Good organization,
  - solving skills, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
• Excellent accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Sound research and translation judgment skills,
  - motivated, adaptable, and professional.
• Candidate must reside within Portugal with legal right to live and work in Portugal.
