About the role

Side is recruiting a Russian Translator for our global translation operation. We seek candidates with advanced language skills and deep cultural knowledge of Russian.

You will be responsible for accurately translating video game content and acting as an interpreter to convert related texts into Russian from English. You will follow
- specific guidelines to ensure
- quality translations and adherence to relevant conventions. You will collaborate with a team of language specialists to produce
- quality translations, either by translating or reviewing documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create or help create glossaries and style guides following client guidelines.
• Create or help develop characterisation documents.
• Perform translation tasks according to provided guidelines, including First Party terminology.
• Conduct revision work following guidelines, including First Party terminology.
• Work as part of a team of translators or revisers.
• Provide linguistic feedback for external work.
• Meet deadlines and productivity standards
  - wide.

Requirements

• Native-level fluency in Russian and English.
• Strong cultural understanding of Russian.
• Experience in the translation industry or as a professional Translator is a plus.
• Knowledge of business software (e. g. , Microsoft Office, memo
  Q, Plunet) is advantageous.
• Proactive with clear communication skills (verbal and written).
• Good organization,
  - solving skills, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Research skills,
  - motivation, adaptability, and professionalism.
• Candidate must reside in Portugal with legal right to live and work in Portugal.
