Our Global Data & Analytics Hub operates within a
- based framework, emphasizing collaboration, innovation, and delivering value through impactful data products. We leverage data and analytics to drive growth and value across markets, functions, and categories.
The Data Scientist role involves converting business problems into mathematical and statistical solutions, coding to create these solutions using modern algorithms (classification, clustering, prompt engineering, regression), and deploying them into production pipelines to support business processes.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Translate business needs into viable data products, managing expectations on delivery time and quality.
- Conduct Proof of Concept (Po
C) and contribute to product development within Data Science teams, writing
- ready code using CI/CD processes. - Work efficiently within Scrum teams, familiar with Scrum rituals and practices.
Skills and Competences:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in Data Science.
- Programming in Python, SQL; additional languages like R, Scala, Py
Spark are a plus. - Understanding of CI/CD principles, SDLC, and versioning tools like Bitbucket.
- Experience with AWS, proficiency with LLMs, and knowledge of MLOps practices.
- Understanding of Data Governance, data privacy, security, and compliance.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and a
- driven approach. - Ability to independently conceptualize, formulate, prototype, and implement algorithms to solve business challenges.
