Overview

Enterprise Risk Management Trainee role at Santander Portugal. The Santander Portugal is seeking a trainee to contribute to risk management with focus on consolidation, oversight, and risk policies, in Lisbon.

Responsibilities

• Consolidation and transversal analysis of the main risks the Bank is subject to, preparing and distributing complete and periodic information on their evolution and status to enable governance bodies to have an integrated view.
• Development of Risk Oversight, ensuring monitoring, updating and challenging key risk types defined by the Group Santander, in line with the Bank's Risk Appetite Statement.
• Monitoring Bank Risk Norms, ensuring the development and updating of local policies per Corporate guidance.
• Implementation of the Risk Communication and Culture Plan, promoting dissemination and implementation of measures or improvements resulting from its evaluation.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in banking sector (preferred).
• Academic background in Business Administration or Economics (preferred).
• Languages: Spanish, Portuguese, English (all mandatory).
• Hard skills: advanced MS Office (Power BI preferred), Excel, Power
  Point; SAS Enterprise Guide preferred.
• Soft skills: analytical, proactive,
  - oriented, strong communication, ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment.
