Enterprise Sales Manager – EMEA

- friendly. We’re mainly active in Europe and expanding fast into new regions.
As an Enterprise Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving new revenue growth across Portugal and the broader EMEA region. This is a strategic position, responsible for managing the full sales cycle - from identifying prospects, building trusted relationships, to negotiating and closing
- value deals.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned closer with strong “hunter” capabilities: highly skilled in prospecting, opening doors, and converting opportunities into
- term partnerships. We are looking for someone with a proven track record in
- up/scale-up environments and solid experience in the payments industry, with the ability to influence and win at the C-level.
What you’ll do
- Own the full sales cycle: prospect, qualify, pitch, negotiate, and close new business opportunities across EMEA.
- Develop and execute account strategies to penetrate new verticals and geographies.
- Engage and build relationships with senior
- makers (C-level, VP, Directors), positioning Paybyrd as a trusted partner. - Close
- value contracts, ensuring strong commercial outcomes while focusing on
- term client success. - Collaborate
- functionally with Marketing, Product, and Operations to tailor solutions to client needs. - Provide accurate pipeline forecasts and quarterly reporting to senior management.
- Represent Paybyrd at industry events and conferences, driving brand presence and sourcing opportunities.
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of proven success as a Senior Account Executive, Business Development Manager, or Sales Manager in Saa
S, fintech, or payments. - Proven experience in the payments industry (e. g. , Acquiring, PSP, Payment Solutions, Fintech).
- Strong network in Retail & Hospitality across EMEA, including Portugal.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and influence
- level stakeholders. - Exceptional negotiation, closing, and presentation skills, with a hunter mentality.
- Strong experience with CRM tools (e. g. , Salesforce, Pipedrive) and MS Office.
- Commercially sharp and analytical, with proven ability to meet and exceed ambitious sales targets.
- Track record of managing multiple large opportunities simultaneously, without losing detail orientation.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
- Fluent in English and Portuguese; another European language is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field.
