As an EHS Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the environmental, health, and safety performance on a
- scale data centre project. Working closely with site teams, subcontractors, and senior management, you will ensure a proactive safety culture, compliance with all legal and company standards, and a safe working environment for everyone on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and maintenance of all EHS systems and procedures on site
• Ensure compliance with local legislation, client requirements, and internal company standards
• Carry out site audits, inspections, and risk assessments to monitor safety practices
• Deliver EHS inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing training for site personnel and subcontractors
• Support and guide subcontractors on all
  - related matters
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts;
  
  
  
  lead root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Maintain

  - date EHS documentation, including risk registers, permits, and safety statements
• Work closely with project management and site supervisors to promote a
  - first culture
• Produce and present regular EHS reports to senior leadership and clients
• Monitor and manage environmental aspects of the project including waste management, noise, and emissions
• Lead emergency preparedness planning and drills
• Participate in client EHS meetings and audits

Skills & Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or related field (e. G. NEBOSH, Degree/Diploma in EHS)
• Minimum 7+ years' EHS experience in construction or heavy engineering environments
• Previous experience on data centres, pharma, semiconductor, or industrial projects preferred
• Strong knowledge of EHS legislation, regulations, and best practices across Europe
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Confident in leading site teams and engaging with all levels of the organisation
• Ability to identify risk and implement effective solutions in
  - pressure environments
• Competent in EHS reporting tools and documentation systems
• Fluent in English (additional European languages a bonus)
• Willingness to travel and work
