EPC Warranty Manager - Oliveira de Frades
Our Operations & Services business line is looking for an EPC Warranty Manager, who will have the following responsibilities:
- Monitor plant performance to ensure alignment with contractual performance guarantees
- Identify and implement mitigation measures when plant performance falls below agreed thresholds
- Oversee and manage warranty claims, ensuring timely resolution and compliance with contractual obligations
- Track and manage subcontractors and suppliers' bonds, claims, and liabilities during the warranty period
- Provide updated reports on the warranty costs incurred to date, including details of claims, resolutions, and any pending items for
- up - Ensure projects are delivered to the final client at FAC and follow FAC process
- Define the process for requesting activation of the EPC warranty
- Coordinate the management of
- related requests by liaising with clients, stakeholders, and the O&M team. Facilitate effective communication between project teams, O&M, and external stakeholders to resolve warranty issues efficiently - Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to address defects and performance issues
- Ensure timely replacement or repair of defective components in line with warranty agreements
- Maintain comprehensive records of all warranty claims, resolutions, and related costs
- Prepare and present regular performance and warranty status reports to internal and external stakeholders
- Share and implement lessons learned to enhance future project performance and warranty management
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and optimize project outcomes during the warranty phase
- Assist with handovers to the O&M team, ensuring a smooth transition from construction to operation
- Ensure compliance with HSE and quality standards during all
- related activities
REQUERIMENTS:
- Master's degree from an engineering school
- Master’s degree in project management or PMP is a plus
- 5 years of experience in construction project management
- In-depth knowledge of photovoltaics
- In-depth knowledge of construction contract principles
- Profound knowledge of construction law
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Fluent in professional English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Proficiency in office tools (Excel, Word, Power
Point, Outlook, etc. ) - Autonomy and capability to work as a team player
