EPS Sales Representative – Iberia Region
(Expandable Polystyrene – Plastic Industry)
Reporting to the EPS European Commercial manager, the role will cover sales activities for EPS (Expandable Polystyrene) across Portugal and Spain, including forecasting, customer management, and support of commercial operations in line with company objectives.
Among the responsibilities:
- Conduct regular visits to customers to strengthen relationships and expand business opportunities.
- Draft and deliver quotations to customers, negotiating agreements that align with company objectives.
- Prepare monthly sales forecasts and ensure accurate reporting to support business planning.
- Track market developments, customer demand, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and risks.
- Manage product pricing and volumes according to the guidelines provided by the European Commercial Manager.
- Register customer orders in the system when required and keep records updated.
- Maintain reliable databases of sales figures, statistics, and price lists.
- Provide market insights and feedback to contribute to strategic
- making. - Oversee customer payment status and follow up on pending invoices.
- Record customer claims and ensure they are resolved within agreed timelines.
We are looking for a professional with a solid background in the plastics industry in commercial roles, with a minimum of 2–3 years of B2B sales experience (experience in styrenics is a strong asset). Candidates without specific EPS experience will also be considered if they meet the language requirements and have solid experience in plastic industry. The selected candidate must speak Portuguese and Spanish and have a fluent level of English for internal communication. Availability to travel within Portugal, Spain and abroad will be necessary.
