ESG Consultant

Your Core Responsibilities Will Include:

Consulting Responsibilities:

• Act as a consultant specializing in ESG, decarbonization, and energy efficiency, particularly within industrial sectors.
• Serve as a project manager, overseeing project delivery from planning through execution.
• Advise clients on strategies for carbon reduction, energy management, and greenhouse gas mitigation, including conducting energy audits.
• Perform both qualitative and quantitative analysis to support client projects and
  - making.
• Develop and manage GHG inventories across Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.
• Assist clients in shaping and implementing comprehensive decarbonization strategies tailored to their business goals.
• Identify emissions reduction opportunities aligned with client targets and sustainability ambitions.
• Contribute to service innovation by developing new offerings that meet emerging client needs.
• Prepare
  - quality reports, recommendations, and
  - facing presentations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stay informed on national ESG regulations and industry standards.

Sales & Business Development:

• Actively contribute to business growth by securing new projects and strengthening client relationships.
• Leverage your existing professional network to engage potential clients and expand DNV’s market presence.
• Represent DNV at industry events, showcasing capabilities and offerings in the ESG and decarbonization space.
• Identify new market opportunities, organize client workshops, and shape service development in response to evolving demands.
• Craft and submit tailored, high-quality project proposals to address specific client needs.

Your Profile:

• A Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or related field with a focus on energy or sustainability.
• Fluency in Dutch (C1/C2) and English, both written and spoken, is essential.
• Proven ability to function as an independent and collaborative consultant.
• Strong understanding of both the technical and commercial implications of business decisions.
• Experience with industrial energy clients in Europe and a solid professional network in the sector.
• Adept at navigating complex,

  - offs.
