Overview

Excavator Operator vacancy in Porto, Portugal. We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team in Porto. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate, move, and grade earth, rock, gravel or other materials during construction projects. This is a contract job with a salary of $1000 per month.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavator and other heavy equipment according to safety guidelines
• Conduct
  - operation checks on equipment and ensure proper maintenance
• Dig trenches, foundations, and other earthworks as needed for construction projects
• Load and unload trucks with materials using the excavator
• Follow project plans and blueprints to ensure accurate excavation and grading
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate work and ensure project completion on time

Qualifications

• Prior experience operating an excavator preferred but not required
• Ability to read and interpret project plans and blueprints
• Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
• Valid driver's license required
