We are seeking a skilled and creative Executive Chef for a luxury hotel in Funchal. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence and the ability to lead a talented kitchen team. This is a
- time position offering a salary of $1300, including accommodation. We welcome applicants from all countries, with or without experience.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to uphold high standards of quality and service.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Create new dishes and refine existing recipes to suit guest preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Executive Chef or similar role.
- Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and cuisines.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a
- paced environment.
