Our client, a luxury hotel in the beautiful city of Braga, Portugal, is seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join their team. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the hotel's culinary operations and ensuring the highest quality of food and service for guests.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain menus that reflect the hotel's standards and guest preferences
- Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure efficient and
- quality food production
- Monitor food costs and inventory levels to meet budgetary goals
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute special events
- Maintain relationships with local suppliers for fresh ingredients
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into menu offerings
- Create a positive work environment that encourages creativity and teamwork
- Conduct performance evaluations for kitchen staff and provide feedback for improvement

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a
- end restaurant or hotel setting
- Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, flavors, ingredients, and presentation styles
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a diverse team
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with other departments
- Ability to work well under pressure in a
- paced environment
- Proficiency in budgeting, inventory management, and cost control
- Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

- Culinary degree or equivalent certification from a reputable institution
- Experience working in luxury hotels or resorts
- Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus

Salary:
The salary for this position is competitive at 1000$ per month.

This is a contract position with visa sponsorship available. The contract length will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications.
