- bid estimates / priced BOQs and provide critical analysis before tenderopening. • Evaluate tenders and draft tender reports with recommendations based on technicaland commercial alignment. • Advise clients on optimal payment terms and contractual conditions to safeguardfinancial outcomes. • Represent the organization in negotiation meetings, actively contributing to finalizationof competitive rates with contractors. • Draft letters of award and compile full sets of contract documents for client approvaland issuance. • Conduct detailed rate analysis incorporating material, labor, and equipment costs
- effective pricing strategies. • Ensure robust compliance with customized Quality Management Systems (QMS)tailored to
- specific requirements. • Manage the cost planning team, driving performance, ownership, and deliverablesacross multiple
- contract workflows. • Validate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for compliance with project specifications andaccuracy in scope. • Use Value Engineering to enhance efficiency. • Must be able to build a simple cost plan without any assistance. • Must be capable of handling at least 2 projects / clients. • Must have experience of handling at least 3 projects preferably of different ectors. • Review documents and maintain the drawing register: drawing name, revisions, dateavailability, and updates. • Understand and manage construction methodology sequences. • Review and validate cost reports for accuracy and relevance. • Thorough understanding of billing/invoicing procedures. Post-Contract:• Oversee bill certification and lead variation management, ensuring changes arevalidated and costed appropriately. • Perform independent quantity
- off verification for construction elements. • Own the document control process including drawing register maintenance. • Interpret construction drawings and align cost data to design changes. • Independently generate periodic cost reports (fortnightly/monthly), ensuring clarityand accuracy. • Carry out Interim Valuations for payment. • Analyse and report on contractual claims, applying a strong understanding ofconstruction methods. • Reappraise provisions for labor and material cost fluctuations. • Maintain Variation Order, Measurement, and Invoice Trackers. • Establish construction cost analyses aligned to client accounting practices. • Uphold rigorous QMS standards throughout the cost management cycle. • Lead the cost management team, aligning outputs with
