Senior Business Analyst

Location:
Lisbon

Hybrid:
2-3 times a week in Lisbon

About the Role

We are currently looking for a
Senior Business Analyst / QA with expertise in API testing and functional analysis
to join a dynamic team involved in the evolution of IT systems in the
private banking sector
. The consultant will work across multiple domains, including
financial securities, cash, and referential systems
, with a strong focus on
API analysis, design, and validation
.

Required Skills

• Seniority
  : Senior (+5 years of experience)
• Strong experience in
  Banking IT Systems
  , particularly within
  Securities, Cash, and Referential domains as Business Analyst or Product owner
• Experience in deliverables up to testing phase
• API´S experience:
• Perform
  functional testing
  of applications and APIs;
• functional experience with
  APIs
  – writing specifications, designing test scenarios, and executing test cases
• Experience in business and technology change (
• Familiarity with
  Jira / Confluence
  for documentation and issue tracking
• Basic understanding of
  CI/CD pipelines
  and tools such as
  Jenkins
  and
  Git
• English
  : C1 (mandatory)
• Candidates must be in Portugal and possess a valid work permit for Portugal

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and translate business needs into clear and structured
  functional specifications
  , use cases, and user stories.
• Coordinate with development teams and technical experts to ensure full alignment on
  Product Detailed Specifications
• Lead and support the
  design and testing of reference APIs
• Maintain a strong focus on
  continuous improvement
  , automation, and collaboration within the team.
• Participate in defining the
  target operating model
  and help optimize business and system processes.
