The opportunity

As an Assurance Professional, you will be a member of our Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS). You will be part of the team that delivers quality accounting and reporting services to our clients and their stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities

As an experienced staff/senior, you will actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships. You will help develop
- term client relationships and networks, as well as develop relationships with team members across all EY practices to service client needs. By drawing on your knowledge and experience, you'll provide innovative commercial insights for clients, adapt methods and practices to fit operational team and cultural needs, and contribute to thought leadership. You'll actively contribute to improving operational efficiency on projects and internal initiatives.

In line with our commitment to quality, you'll consistently drive projects to completion and ensure that work is of high quality. Your role in leading teams or parts of teams on engagements will depend on the size of engagement and will be under the responsibility of higher levels. They will look to you to anticipate and identify risks and escalate issues as appropriate.

As an influential member of the team, you'll help create a positive learning culture and will coach and counsel junior team members.

Skills and attributes for success

• Participate in Reporting Performance Improvement external client consulting engagements, advising clients on solutions around creating efficient processes or improving existing processes.
• Assist in managing the financial aspects of engagements by organizing staffing, tracking fees and communicating issues to project leaders.
• Participate in business development initiatives.
• Build strong internal relationships across EY’s various service lines.

To qualify for the role you must have

• Strong academic record including a bachelor's degree in accounting, management, economics or a related field;
  
  
  
  
• Experience in external/internal audit projects (2-5 years);
  
  
  
  or
• Experience in
  - based financial management consulting engagements (2-5 years);
  
  
  
  
• Comfort using Microsoft Office Tools (with emphasis on Excel and Power
  Point);
  
  
  
  
• Interest in structuring problems and developing solutions for reporting/accounting issues;
  
  
  
  
• Excellentcommunication skills including verbal, written, and presentation;
  
  
  
  
• Strong analytical and
  - solving skills;
  
  
  
  
• Experience managing staff on multiple projects and providing direction to team members;
  
  
  
  
• A high level ofmotivation and a
  - starting attitude.
