Join our team as an EPC Contract Manager (all genders) in Porto, where you will play a critical role in managing and negotiating contracts for the construction of photovoltaic (PV) and wind power plants. Collaborate with
- functional teams and contribute to shaping the renewable energy landscape.
- Oversee the negotiation, administration, and compliance of Sub
EPC contracts, ensuring alignment with company policies and collaboration across Procurement, Engineering, Project Management, and Legal teams.
- Assist project teams in contract interpretation, compliance, and managing Sub
EPC deadlines to minimize risks and ensure timely execution of deliverables.
- Maintain accurate records of all contractual communications with subcontractors and clients, updating documentation through addenda as required.
- Assess, negotiate, and resolve claims or variations, ensuring proper interpretation and implementation of contracts in cooperation with relevant departments.
- Drive adherence to contractual obligations, maintaining alignment with main contracts and supporting internal teams in risk assessment and resolution.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a comparable field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in EPC contract management, ideally within the renewable energy sector.
- Comprehensive knowledge of EPC structures, including risk allocation, pricing models (e. g. ,
- sum,
- plus), and key terms. Proficient in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts to safeguard organizational interests. - Skilled in mitigating project risks, managing contract variations, and resolving claims and disputes efficiently while maintaining project progress.
- Fluent in English and Portuguese, with strong communication skills for internal and external stakeholders. Any additional languages are a plus.
