Secil is seeking a to bridge operational excellence and digital transformation within our cement factories. This role will drive data management and deliver dashboards that empower Plant Managers and Operational Teams with actionable insights. From maintenance metrics and CO₂ emissions to shift reports and plant performance, you will ensure data drives
- making at all levels of the factory.

You will leverage Secil’s centralized data platform and tools to provide reliable, insightful dashboards that enhance factory operations. This role combines business and operational analysis, data transformations and cleaning, and
- centered dashboard delivery to meet the needs of
- digital stakeholders.

Location:

Between Leiria and Setúbal (with frequent travel to cement plants and office in Lisbon)

Main Responsibilities

• Partner with factory stakeholders (Plant Managers, Operational Teams) to identify dashboard and reporting needs across various operations: maintenance, sustainability, production shifts, and plant management;

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards that simplify complex data into actionable insights using Secil’s data platform and visualization tools;

• Collaborate with Secil’s digital team to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources into structured, reliable datasets;

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and usability;

• Provide training and support to
- digital users, ensuring they can leverage dashboards for
- making;

• Continuously identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes, streamline workflows, and improve data quality;

• Act as the key liaison between the factory operations and Secil’s digital team to align data initiatives with operational priorities;

Qualifications and Must-Have Skills

• 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or digital roles, preferably in industrial operations;

• Proficiency in data platforms, ETL processes, and visualization tools such as Domo, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent;

• Strong understanding of data management principles and best practices;

• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to translate operational needs into technical solutions;

• Experience working with
- digital users, delivering tools that are intuitive and actionable;

• Strong communication skills in Portuguese and English;

• Ability to travel frequently to cement plants and Lisbon.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with industrial systems (e. g. , SCADA, MES, PLCs);

• Familiarity with Relational and Time-Series Databases and Object Storage;

• Familiarity with Star schema data modelling;

• Experience in maintenance, CO₂ reporting, or operational efficiency within industrial settings;

• Basic knowledge of Io
T and data platforms for manufacturing environments.
