About the role
We are looking for an Field Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team in Arrow ECS Portugal who will be responsible for developing business at the Datacenter Business Unit.
What will you be doing?
Growing & Developing The Partner Community
- Hunt for new partnerships.
- Proactively call and engage potential new and established partners to grow sales for assigned Vendors / Technologies.
- Rebuild underpenetrated and neglected partner relationships.
- Develop knowledge in the partner community.
Demand Generation
- Drive sales growth through building new partner relationships.
- Focus on calling and engaging with new partners to grow our business within the Business Unit.
- Leverage Arrow and vendor programs and promotions to progress a transaction through the sales cycle.
- Sign on new partners to the Arrow network.
Partner Support
- Manage vendor special pricing programs including submissions for pricing requests and any data or program dependencies, tracking requests for approval.
- Develop knowledge in the partner community concerning Vendor products, solutions, campaigns, and channel programs.
- Process quotes for specified customers and/or quote revisions for mass price changes, program changes or part changes.
- Prepare orders, from quote work if applicable, for submission based on receipt of the customers’ purchase orders ensuring that all required information for accurate processing is included.
What are we looking for?
- At least 5 years of experience in Business Development and Sales.
- Experience in cybersecurity.
- Business fluency in Portuguese and English.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Ability to work in a
- paced team environment. - Excellent organization and creativity skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Public speaking and/or presentation skills.
- Ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Ability to create positive impressions with customers, business partners, and staff.
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office Programs (Excel, Outlook, Word, and Power
Point). - Formal product management training helpful.
