We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our Industry Automation team in Portugal, supporting one of our major clients in the oil and gas sector in Porto.

The main goal of this role is to ensure customer satisfaction through
- site installation, servicing, and repair of complex automation equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide remote and
  -
  - face support and services effectively.
• Implement automation projects independently or as part of a team.
• Manage and respond to customer inquiries promptly within SLA guidelines.
• Follow GSM processes for documentation and communication.
• Maintain proactive communication with customers, providing updates.
• Initiate engineering change requests detailing product faults or customer requests.
• Install and repair hardware, software, and peripherals per specifications.
• Respond efficiently to customer inquiries, meeting SLA standards.

Must Have

• 3-5 years of experience in automation systems (DCS, ESD, F&G, PLC, SCADA, etc. ) in industrial automation.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Proficiency in English and Portuguese (written and verbal).
• Valid driving license.
• Availability to travel domestically and internationally.

Valuable Skills

• Experience with Honeywell process control systems.
• Availability for
  - call support.
• Troubleshooting skills.
• Cybersecurity knowledge.
• Experience with network configuration, firewalls, TCP/IP, Windows servers, Active Directory, and virtualization.
• Knowledge of network security, patch management, and IT system troubleshooting.
• Previous industry and customer service experience.
• Ability to create design documents and understand networking hardware.
