Field Service Engineer - IT (Systems and Softwares)

Palex Portugal, a leading company in the management and distribution of innovative hospital and research solutions, is recruiting a Field Service Engineer - IT (Systems and Softwares).

Main Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and support mainly for IT (Systems and Softwares).
• This includes installation, preventive maintenance, diagnosis and repair of equipment malfunctions, intervention estimates, initial operator training, and safety modifications and updates.
• Assistance and implementation of clinidata software (Lis software).
• Integration with clinical analysis equipment.
• Integration with hospital software.
• Software integrations (HL7).
• Database management (Oracle and Postgres).
• Software tester and Customer training.
• Implementation in international projects.
• Configuration and handling of specific software (Mirth, Soap
  UI, Sqltools, DBeaver, Pg
  Admin) and remote access and VPN tools.
• Manage workflow, customer interaction, and company requirements and procedures, providing the best customer experience and appropriate incident reporting.

Knowledge & Experience

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science and/or Health Informatics (or similar).
• At least 2 years' experience as a technician in a similar role.
• Experience in health Systems and Softwares.
• Build cooperative relationships and work team.
• Languages: Portuguese and English, Spanish will be valued.
