Palex Portugal, a leading company in the management and distribution of innovative hospital and research solutions, is recruiting a Field Services Engineer.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide instrument service and support mainly in ultrasound equipment, smart rooms, and monitoring systems.
• Include installation, preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repair of equipment failures, quotations for interventions, initial operator training, security modifications, and upgrades.
• Manage workflow, interface with clients, and adhere to company procedures to ensure the best customer experience and proper incident reporting.
• Escalate support needs to manufacturers when necessary.
• Respond to client requests by providing part numbers, quotations, and other technical support.
• Collaborate with the Service Care Coordinator and Key Account Managers.

Requirements:

• Graduated in electronics or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a technician in a similar role.
• Experience in technical support for imaging, ultrasound, smart rooms, and monitoring systems.
• Technical assistance experience in life support systems.
• Ability to build cooperative relationships and work within a team.
• Languages: Portuguese and English; Spanish is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office and computer skills.
