The individual will be responsible for the coordination of installation, repair and maintenance support of the full range of Rapiscan’s product’s in Portugal/Southern Europe as well the Service in Portugal. The Lead Engineer also manages the

- day service delivery of a regional teams of Field Service Engineers in Portugal.
You will need to be based in Portugal and speak fluent Portuguese.
Role Overview
In addition to the routine roles and responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer, the Lead FSE will need to assure the following additional tasks:
- Lead the teams' Service Engineers in

- day service activities. - Work together with the Service Delivery Manager in building an Excellent Service.
- Share with the Service Delivery Manager the 24/7 Service Support Supervision.
- Help the Service Delivery Manager to build all the procedures applicable to the country.
- Serve as backup Service Delivery Manager in her absence.
- Prepare the Rostas and assure the shifts are permanently covered.
- Prepare the maintenance plans and supervise their execution.
- Ensure compliance with PM and MC in accordance with the technical requirements.
- Ensure that all logistics requirements are met, and stocks are Up
To
Date. - Ensure that the RMAs are prepared diligently.
- Ensure that the airport rules are followed and an efficient communication is maintained.
- Ensure that the EHS are met daily.
- Monitor systems performance daily and trigger predictive actions based on data.
- Ensure compliance with quality requirements.
- Monitor the completion of incident reports in the client’s ERP.
- Help the Service Delivery Manager to ensure that the KPIs are met.
- Ensure the FSEs are permanently updated from a technical point of view.
- Participate in the annual performance reviews for each team member.
- Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

- Excellent communication, organisational and administrative discipline.

- Previous experience working in a
- facing environment would be beneficial. - Extensive experience working with a
- based customer support team servicing
- tech security equipment and systems. - Comfortable working in demanding and challenging contexts.
- Available to work in shifts punctually if needed.
- Flexibility to respond to emergencies.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Training and Qualifications:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline (Mechanical/Electrical or Electronics) or Master’s in relevant subjects.
- Electronics and computer knowledge.
- Experience with electronics and computers, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Good English skills: spoken, written, and communication. Portuguese is mandatory.
