This role involves the installation, service, and support of Rapiscan X-RAY screening systems. The primary responsibility will be supporting all X-ray and Trace product lines of Rapiscan systems at airports. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Installation, commissioning, and service support of Rapiscan’s X-ray systems.
- Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance
- site. - Following technical procedures for PMs and CMs according to recommendations.
- Attending all
- outs. - Working on shift patterns to support customer sites.
- Completing documentation and service orders accurately and promptly.
- Submitting service and
- conformance reports without delay. - Contributing to spare parts traceability and stock management.
- Representing Rapiscan at the site, establishing trust and proactive communication.
- Learning from IT specialists and PLC engineers for system integration and becoming proficient.
- Ensuring systems are accurate and optimized continually.
- Participating in departmental duties and special projects as required.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities for complex systems.
- Flexibility and adaptability during project changes.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to obtain airport security passes (some may require a criminal record check).
- An engineering electrical diploma.
- Good English language skills:
spoken, written, and communication. - General knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and electronic systems is desirable.
