Finance Analyst – Fixed Term Contract

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct, complete, chronological and orderly record of all GL accounting transactions
• Examine closing entries and items
• Act as responsible counterpart for business partners in defined countries and legal entities
• Ensure closing activities and reports are completed based on global deadlines
• Lead monthly, quarterly and
  - end closing activities including support of group reporting
• Professional handling and alignment of special issues in general ledger accounting and ad‑hoc reports
• Responsible for fixed asset accounting in defined entities
• Reconcile intercompany, balance sheet and Pn
  L accounts
• Review journal entries, reports and reconciliations to ensure compliance with external reporting and tax requirements and deliver quality service to the territories
• SPOC for local auditors of defined entities and internal control activities
• Contribute to continuous process improvement and DTPs ownership
• Meet service level agreements and performance targets related to the R2R processes

Qualifications

• Accounting or Finance degree or equivalent work experience
• Strong accounting background with General Ledger knowledge
• Minimum 1 year SAP experience; Smart
  Close experience is a plus
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Certification as Certified Finance Accountant and HGB experience is valuable
• Good analytical, communication and teamwork skills
• Quality‑ and service‑oriented attitude
• Highly motivated and flexible
• End‑to‑end process knowledge on R2R
• Good English language skills; additional European language skills beneficial
