The role
This is an exciting and unique opportunity to join Go
Cardless in our new Lisbon hub as a Finance Analyst.
As one of the founding employees in our new Portuguese hub, you will be responsible for reporting and analysing headcount and other key metrics to support informed
- making. Your insights will directly influence where and how we invest and hire. This role also offers exceptional exposure to business partnering with senior stakeholders globally.
Joining us at this stage means your work will have an impact on the success of our new hub, but also across the wider Go

What excites you
- Reporting and analysis of headcount and growth of the company, including compiling headcount data weekly and reporting on new hires, leavers, vacancies and total headcount
- Calculating the fully loaded cost per person
- Updating and maintaining ownership of the headcount model and budget each month to forecast outturn
- Assist with and prepare presentations and financial analyses on other departments and areas of the business
- Different
- hoc projects - Working for a global company
What excites us
- Excellent Excel skills (ideally Pivot Tables, VLookup, etc. )
- Financial analysis experience
- Knowledge of Net
Suite or similar accounting packages - Professional and articulate - able to communicate effectively with internal and external parties
- Highly numerate - you love numbers and you’re good with them
- Ability to work in a timely and accurate fashion
- Strong attention to detail
- You have great communication (C1 English) and interpersonal skills, and are able to build strong and productive relationships.
- You have an interest in the Fin
Tech industry
Base salary ranges are based on role, job level, location, and market data. Please note that whilst we strive to offer competitive compensation, our approach is to pay between the minimum and the
- point (€18, 400 - €23, 000) of the pay range until performance can be assessed in the role. Offers will take into account level of experience, interview assessment, budgets and parity between you and fellow employees at Go
Cardless doing similar work.
Please note, this role is initially being offered through an Employer of Record (EOR), our standard benefits package will be available upon transition to direct employment.
