The Role

As a Finance Assistant the responsibility is to support the finance manager in maintaining and delivering accurate and timely financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Analysis of finance and accounting data
• Support in the
  - end close analysis and preparation of monthly financial reports
• Analytical review of the financial statements of the group companies and contribute to the reliability of the financial information and minimization of the occurrence of errors
• Assist finance and accounting
  -
  - day administrative tasks
• Support in the preparation of reports, studies and plans related to investment projects
• Collaborate in the preparation of innovation projects, including planning, scheduling and budgeting (Portugal 2030 and others)
• Monitor the group insurances and ensure a complete and regular follow up
• Assist the finance manager with ad hoc requirements

Your Profile

• Degree in economics, finance or another related field
• 1 to 2 years of experience on related positions
• Positive “hands-on” attitude, willingness to learn
• Strong understanding of accounting issues advantageous
• High level knowledge and ability with Excel advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and independently
• Good team spirit and easy to have interpersonal relationships
• Ability to work in a
  - paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English essential
