The purpose of this role is to be a key business partner in providing insightful, reliable and fast finance solutions to all stakeholders (Vodafone PT Board, Board Members, Consumer Business Unit, Financial areas, but also Vodafone International Headquarter in London), driving business solutions proactively towards Vodafone strategic goals. The role supports strategic financial decisions for Vodafone PT’s Consumer segment by delivering
- quality analysis, strong business cases, and actionable recommendations, while ensuring compliance and driving
- functional collaboration This role will inherit the responsibility for holistic topics with Revenue or Costs area (Direct Costs, Acquisition & Retention Costs) for Mobile and Fixed Consumer.
What You’ll Do
- To support
- making by ensuring high quality and robust business cases complemented with clear and actionable recommendations; - To prepare and analyze Budget and Forecasts, challenging business unit inputs and developing
- quality, ambitious but realistic financial plans based on
- depth business knowledge of Consumer segment; - To ensure insightful explanations of the Actuals, namely, deviations from the budget as well as the trends and seasonality of the Consumer business drivers and develop reporting that drives improvements in business strategy and operational efficiency;
- Proactive approach in suggesting improvements and changes within the team and/or the business;
- Quality and timeliness of business cases and financial plans;
- Accuracy and insightfulness of Actuals analysis and reporting;
- Effective collaboration across functions and strong teamwork contribution
Who You Are
- University Degree and Master in Management, Finance or Economics;
- Highly developed analytical skills;
- Great interpersonal, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills;
- Ability to project manage and to handle various projects and
- hoc requests simultaneously; - Curious to learn and understand the overall business, but also the ability to drive change;
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience;
- Advanced MS Office especially Excel and Power Point skills needed;
- International experience (academically or professionally) as a plus;
- Fluent in spoken and written Business English
