In this highly visible and critical role you will be responsible for partnering across functions to support business and the functional management teams that support the EMEA MS business. It is accountable for the full commercial financial delivery including control of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow analysis and visibility and insight into underlying business unit performance. This role requires complex financial analyses. It also has a high degree of stakeholder business partnering and visibility;
you should be comfortable with influencing senior stakeholders to drive outcomes. You should be passionate about solving big and complex commercial problems using data, even when the answer or the problem is ambiguous. If you are entrepreneurial, commercially minded and proactive in your approach, we want to hear from you. **What you will be doing**:
- Accountable for control of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow and analysis, visibility and insight into underlying business unit financial performance. - Working with the regional customer team to maximize the value extracted from contracts, including identifying and rectifying unprofitable contracts and maximizing variation management opportunities. - Delivery of inputs to support the accuracy and compliance of the monthly reporting and processes, including management of regional revenue completeness, preparation of month end commentary, MBR pack and
- month estimates. - Provide business support on decision making, target setting, investment and performance. - Provide clear decision support including analysis of strategic options utilising established KPIs and benchmarks. - Provide analysis and guidance to Management to optimise Business’s balance. - Evaluate and analyse investment opportunities utilising standard systems & metrics. - Evaluate and analyse customer tender opportunities utilising standard systems. - Conduct regular Customer & Product Profitability Analysis utilising standard tools. - Leverages benchmarks to drive cost & process efficiency improvements. - Assist line management with fixed costs monitoring and control including standard reports & analysis. Measure cost drivers and determine critical activities. **What you will bring**:
- Role ideally suited to individuals with a minimum of (10) years’ business partnering experience. - Proven experience working with and influencing senior leadership and
- functional teams, leading
- functional projects from conception to completion. - Experience in manufacturing, mining & metals, oil and gas or other
- intensive sectors highly desirable. - A willingness to challenge the status quo, learn new knowledge domains quickly, and socialise different approaches and points of view. - Strong strategic and commercial acumen, with a creative approach to problem solving. - Relevant tertiary qualification in finance, business or equivalent (post-graduate highly regarded)- Excellent proficiency in Excel/Word/Power
Point with Power BI also highly regarded. - Proficient knowledge of SAP. - Knowledge of foreign languages and international experience is advantageous but not essential. **What we offer**:
