We are looking for a Finance Capital Markets Products Controller
MAIN TASKS:
- Oversee accounting controls for a specific product perimeter: Ensure the reliability and integrity of the accounting for designated financial products by conducting thorough control checks and reconciliations.
- Ensure data reconciliations and risk analysis: Perform data reconciliation with operational inventories and analyze financial and operational risks, including identifying discrepancies and tracking their resolution.
- Manage issue resolution: Actively manage the resolution of issues, ensuring prompt escalation to management when necessary, and ensure that problems are addressed effectively to avoid recurring issues.
- Foster collaboration with partners: Work closely with colleagues from various teams, including Front Office, Back Office, and Middle Office, to anticipate problems, ensure smooth communication, and ensure issues are properly managed before and after closing periods.
- Improve control processes: Contribute to the continuous improvement of the accounting and control processes, identifying opportunities to automate tasks and reduce manual interventions, thus enhancing efficiency and minimizing operational risk.
- Formalize procedures and training materials: Develop and formalize team procedures and operating guides, create training materials for new joiners, and actively participate in onboarding, training, and coaching efforts.
- Contribute to system efficiency and regulatory projects: Participate in major system and regulatory projects, such as the transition to a new General Ledger (OFS) and other business and regulatory initiatives. Contribute to testing, training, and ensuring proper controls are in place during migration or
- live stages.
YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS:
Technical Skills:
- IT Knowledge: Solid understanding of IT systems and how they interact with financial controls and accounting processes, ensuring seamless operation and data integrity.
- Experience with SQL, Python, Power
BI, and Tableau: Proficiency in SQL for data querying and management, Python for process automation and analysis, and experience with Power
BI and Tableau for data visualization and reporting purposes.
Language Skills:
