What You’ll Do
We are looking for an experienced accountant with solid knowledge of IFRS 16 to support the accurate classification, measurement, and reporting of lease arrangements. This role involves reviewing lease contracts, ensuring consistent application of accounting policies, correct recognition of
-
- use assets and lease liabilities, and compliance with disclosure requirements under IFRS standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Accounting: Manage a set of P&L and BS accounts, including Real and Accrual control;
- Advisory: Advise on the correct accounting treatment for new Products/Processes;
- Co
P/Group: Interact with External, Group, and Co
P key stakeholders to leverage global scale; - Project management: Implement or adapt Local or Group projects to comply with standards;
- Control partners: Respond to queries from internal and external auditors;
- Provide insights to support better financial and business decisions;
- Prepare statutory accounts and financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulations;
- Process, record, classify, consolidate, and interpret Vodafone financials, including reports;
- Drive digital transformation through modern, standardized processes;
- Ensure compliance with policies, SOX, SSC processes;
- Respond to internal and external queries promptly;
- Complete monthly closing activities accurately and timely;
- Perform
- hoc tasks as required; - Monitor KPI framework for Finance Operations;
- Lead reviews and support Business & Finance in achieving targets;
- Drive financial implementations and innovation;
- Manage EVO Demand, Data Governance, and Process Governance.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s or master’s in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, CA/CPA preferred;
- 5+ years of experience in finance;
- Experience in multinationals with
- product/multi-segment roles recommended; - Knowledge of Statutory (Local GAAP, IFRS), Controlling, Tax;
- Proficient in SAP (including SAP 4/Hana) and BI tools;
- English proficiency.
