Job Description

The Tax team seeks a Financial & Tax Analyst to partner with Finance, Accounting, FP&A and other stakeholders, ensuring compliance and optimizing the group’s tax position. The role is hybrid finance–tax, requiring strong analytical skills and cross‑functional collaboration.

Intragroup Transactions Calculations

• Calculate and document intercompany markups, royalties, service fees, interest, and other intragroup flows in line with transfer pricing policies.
• Build and maintain calculation models, including cost bases, allocation keys, and financial data inputs.
• Ensure alignment between intercompany calculations and statutory/management financial statements.
• Support the update and implementation of intragroup financial policies (services, financing, IP, distribution models, etc. ).

Tax Controlling

• Monitor tax balances, including current taxes, deferred taxes, provisions, credits, and withholding taxes.
• Perform analytical reviews of tax‑related accounts.
• Develop and track tax KPI dashboards to support tax performance monitoring.
• Contribute to process improvements, including data quality enhancement and automation of tax processes.

Effective Tax Rate Analysis

• Calculate the consolidated and per‑country effective tax rate (ETR) for reporting cycles.
• Analyze variances between statutory rate, theoretical rate, and effective rate, including permanent and temporary differences.
• Support the preparation of group PIA 2 and CIT calculations.

Cross‑functional Responsibilities

• Support transfer pricing projects, providing financial analyses for Local Files and Master File.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Controlling, Treasury, Accounting, and Legal teams.
• Assist during tax audits by preparing financial analyses and supporting documentation.
• Contribute to digitization initiatives within the tax department (automation, databases, workflow improvements).

Profile

• Graduate with a Master’s degree (business or engineering school).
• Prior experience in audit, Big 4, or finance.
• Native in French and fluent in English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling.
• Strong analytical and data‑gathering skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage at all levels.
• Capable of working in a fast‑paced environment and managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Experience with generative AI tools (e. g. , Open
  AI) to enhance productivity (desired).
• Adaptability, teamwork, and a proactive mindset.
