The Role

- oriented Financial Accountant to join our Finance team in Lisbon. Reporting to the Accounting and Tax Manager, you will be responsible for the full accounting and tax compliance cycle for our Portuguese entities, ensuring the accuracy of financial data and compliance with local regulations.

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for managing
- cycle accounting processes in compliance with Portuguese GAAP (SNC) and IFRS, including
- end close, reconciliations, provisions, and journal entries. The role involves preparing and reviewing financial statements and annual accounts, ensuring accurate and timely tax filings (VAT, CIT/Modelo 22, IES), and maintaining proper accounting records. This position also supports external audits and collaborates with internal and global teams to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

Desirable skills:

• Certified Accountant (Técnico Oficial de Contas)
• Proven experience in managing full accounting and tax cycles, with strong exposure to tax compliance.
• In-depth knowledge of Portuguese tax regulations and accounting standards (SNC + IFRS).
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written).
