Job Description

• Responsible for preparation of the Investment Advisory Divisional Consolidation Templates for review, within the
  - end timetable.
• Managing relationships with key stakeholders within the Wealth Management business.
• Preparation of monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations for the UK Investment Advisory division.
• To conduct first review of monthly and quarterly management accounts prepared by other team members, communicating issues to the businesses and finance team.
• Responsible for and be the first point of contact for technical and transactional matters, including drafting of memos and researching up to date technical guidance etc.
• Assist with the preparation of
  - end information for external audit and to be the main point of contact with external auditors for audit deliverables and queries on the Investment Advisory entities.
• Assist with preparation of quarterly Board papers.
• Assist with preparation of all banking covenant calculations and ensure they are prepared in adequate time for the quarterly deadlines.
• Assist in the preparation and review of Group VAT returns and other company tax information prior to submission to our tax advisors.
• Assist with preparation and filing of statutory accounts for UK group entities
• Assist with the preparation and review of the Group FCA returns on a quarterly/bi-annual basis and preparation of the ICARA.
• Assist with US GAAP reconciliations for submission Group.
• Assist with due diligence and group M&A requests.
• Assist with broader expansion projects (report standardisation, intercompany matrix, and group cash flow).
• Assist broader finance group with implementation and review of internal controls and enhancing procedures to improve efficiency and automation of current manual processes.
• Strong communication/interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Practice Trained CPA, ACA or ACCA Qualified Accountant– Essential.
• Minimum of 6 years experience
• Experience with preparing management accounts
• Proven multitasking experience, working with multiple tight Group Reporting deadlines.
• Proven experience in the Financial Services Industry.
• Experience of working in
  - currency environment.
• Experience in preparation of financial statements under UK GAAP, IFRS and US GAAP.
• Net
  Suite package experience including production of reports and interrogation preferable.
• Advanced Microsoft Office. Microsoft Excel (Essential).
• Strong commercial and technical understanding of investment advisory transactions.
• Proactive attitude with strong sense of accountability and ownership.
• Ability to understand the bigger picture and add value to processes and controls.
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and good interpersonal skills.
