JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for the financial management of a property (or group of properties) for a client and fulfilling the financial obligations under the terms of the property’s management agreement.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Perform all lease administration/financial duties, including AP/AR.
2. Ensure compliance with financial property management policies and procedures, codes, regulations, and governmental directives.
3. Prepare operating and capital budgets, track variances, perform
   - end reconciliations, and ensure smooth recovery processes.
4. Accurately abstract all property leases in lease administration software.
5. Maintain interface with
   - party owners and the accounting team to ensure total contract compliance, including the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports.
6. Participate in financial and client team meetings to ensure effective communication between accountants and property management team members to achieve client goals.
7. Provide and foster positive relationships with tenants, clients, and
   - party entities.

IMPORTANT EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related discipline

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of real estate financial management or related financial experience
• Strong knowledge of finance
• Ability to analyze, prioritize, and deliver
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of Yardi

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment in the greater Lisbon area. It routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, videoconferencing tools, and phones.
