Role purpose and focus
Commercial Finance is built on two pillars: (1) be brilliant at the basics with robust reporting underpinned by a single source of truth and strong processes; (2) no surprises with ongoing forecasting of performance underpinned by proactive analysis and insights. The role focuses on two areas of an ROI calculation: primarily revenues and understanding the reasons behind the numbers, with a secondary focus on investment and how this shapes performance.
The Self Serve business (the focus area for this role) has upwards of 100k merchants with many reportable characteristics, meaning data sets can be large and complex. Deep analysis of trends and drivers is required to inform assumptions on future volumes and the value they will generate.
Responsibilities
- Develop and own performance reporting and forecasting related to revenues and investment, providing clear insights to stakeholders.
- Analyze large data sets to identify trends, drivers and opportunities; translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Own complex budget and forecast revenue models; proactively raise risks and identify opportunities to mitigate them.
- Maintain integrity of rolling spend forecasts and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure
- quality inputs for ROI reporting. - Partner with senior stakeholders; act as a credible, trusted advisor and drive process changes independently.
- Support and evolve metric reporting to align with business goals and performance needs.

What excites us
- At least 5 years of experience in a Finance Analyst or Commercial Analyst role.
- Clear and confident communication across all levels of the business, including Exec stakeholders.
- Inquisitive, proactive and passionate about interrogating data to understand the why.
- Extensive experience in Excel/Google Sheets to build financial models; SQL knowledge is a bonus but a willingness to learn is essential.
- Ability to condense findings for easy stakeholder understanding.
- Comfort with cost management in a commercial context.
- Preferred: Qualified member of a recognised accounting association (e. g. , ACCA, CIMA).
Salary
Salary range: €34, 400 – €51, 600 (gross) per year, including 13th and 14th salaries.
Base salary ranges depend on role, level, location and market data. Offers reflect experience, interview assessment, budgets and parity with colleagues in similar roles at Go
