Financial Analyst

CTR/Hayco is a multinational manufacturing company looking for an Senior Analyst Finance Planning and Analys to join our Finance team in Portugal.
Responsibilities
- Operational & Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Assist in the preparation of operational and financial reports supported by variance analyses related to manufacturing performance.
- Support annual budgeting process, actual P&L execution control versus budget plan.
- Support the development, maintain and update excel models used to evaluate, capture and report operational financial performance data.
- Permanent mindset focus on operational efficiency, purchase order control and factory manufacturing overheads monitoring.
- Monitor and report Depatments Operational Expense (Op
Ex) monthly execution versus cost center approved budget
- Support Accounting Team in specific data driven accrual models, specific P&L analysis and in External annual Audit requests
- Industrial Shop Floor Performance & KPI Monitoring:
Assist FP&A team tracking and analyze key shop floor KPIs such as:
- Production machine performance and throughput versus standards
- Scrap rate control
- Labor efficiency and productivity
- Downtime and machine utilization
- Inventory turnover evolution and material variance
- Cost Control & Quotation Commercial Pricing | Product Profitability Analysis
- Perform standard cost updates and variance analysis (actual vs. standard) on a regular basis.
- Collaborate and act as business partner with Marketing Revenue Team on RFQ for new product lauches supporting

- end profitability validation
- Liaise with cost accounting, procurement, R&D, Engeenering and Production teams to ensure data accuracy and cost transparency.
- In conjunction with both Senior FP&A Manager and Associate Finance Director participate within strategic initiatives, such as, customer profitability reviews, process optimization projects, new product launches (NPIs) and Capital Investment evaluations with Management.

- Contribute and drive automation opportunities in financial reporting and forecasting processes ideally through the ERP system or by other tools such as Power BI
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in FP&A activities
- Strong collaboration with IT ERP Teams promoting system adherence to financial and operational control goals and requirements
Support Senior FP&A Manager in the Annual Inventory Counts liaising with operational Teams
Qualifications
- Degree in Management, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Financial Accounting or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Financial Modeling (mandatory)
- Proficient Advanced MS Excel user (mandatory)
- Experience working with SAP ERP in a Finance department (is a plus)
- Knowledge of Accounting Principles and IFRS (is a plus)
- Knowledge of manufacturing industrial processes (is a plus)
- Proven experience designing and managing KPI dashboards (is a plus)
- Highly Analytical profile
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a
