Qualifications
- Experience with Financial Planning and Financial Reporting
- Strong Analytical Skills related to financial data interpretation and
- making - Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting Financial Statements
- Background in Finance or a related field
- Excellent
- solving and communication skills - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or similar field
- Familiarity with financial modeling or forecasting tools is a plus
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Mandatory requirements:
Experience
- 3–5 years in financial analysis, FP&A, controlling, or audit/consulting.
- Prior experience in Big Four (audit/assurance, deals, advisory) or in corporate finance/FP&A departments is particularly valued
Academic requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Management, Economics or Finance (e. G. , Nova SBE, Católica-Lisbon, Católica Porto, ISEG, ISCTE, FEUP or equivalent)
- Master’s is desirable (e. G. , Finance, Economics, Management)
Technical
- Solid knowledge of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow), ratios, and variance analysis.
- Excel (intermediate to advanced).
- Power BI (preferred): simple data modelling, basic DAX (measures), dashboard creation, and report sharing.
- Understanding of accounting principles and budgeting/forecasting processes.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking;
autonomy and organisation. - Strong written and verbal communication;
ability to translate data into insights for
- finance teams. - Team player with a proactive attitude;
eager to learn and grow. - Interest in Python (e. G. , basics of pandas) is valued but not mandatory.
Languages
- Portuguese and English (C2/C1).
Software
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power
Point, Outlook). - Preferential: Power BI, Power Query, and basic knowledge of ERP/SQL
Main responsibilities:
- Analyse financial data (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow), identifying trends, deviations, and improvement opportunities.
- Support budgeting and forecasting (scenarios,
- ifs) and contribute to variance analysis vs. actuals. - Build and maintain financial models and reports in Excel and dashboards in Power BI (KPIs, margins, costs, revenue).
- Collaborate with Accounting, Operations, and Commercial teams to collect/validate data and drive
- functional initiatives. - Prepare periodic reports (monthly/quarterly) and executive presentations for management.
- Support
- end activities (basic reconciliations, data integrity checks) and
- hoc analyses. - Contribute to continuous process improvement (simple automations with Excel/Power Query/Power BI) and data quality.
- Participate in compliance/internal audit initiatives and procedure documentation.
