We’re looking for a Financial Assistant with proven experience in accounting, financial management, or similar roles (minimum 3 years). The ideal candidate is organized,
- oriented, and analytical, with a hands‑on attitude and the ability to work independently while supporting cross‑functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the day‑to‑day operations of the company’s financial and accounting function.
• Record and monitor invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy, deadlines, and compliance.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and monthly financial reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations and verify the accuracy of journal entries.
• Support monthly and annual closing processes.
• Liaise with the external accounting firm and internal departments.
• Prepare documentation for audits and tax reporting.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve administrative and financial processes.

Requisitos

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or management control.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations in Portugal.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting or ERP software (preferably Zoho Books, Invoicexpress, PHC, or similar).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• High level of responsibility, integrity, and confidentiality.
• Strong time management and autonomy in task execution.
• Intermediate English (written and spoken).
