Financial Controller Officer Trainee
About the job
Produce financial analysis to enhance the performance of the different business units and help them taking the best decisions based on timely and accurate reports. Work actively as a finance business partner.
Your Main Activities Are
Monthly and Quarterly closing - process, controls & follow up
To closely
- up with the business SPOCs & beneficiaries on their financials and answer their queries
To participate in Accruals process calculations and invoicing of the services that Portugal provides to all the entities worldwide
Support the modelling to the forecasting and budgeting process
Work closely with internal clients to build their forecast/budget
Ensure proper calculation and allocation of expenses
Help the analysis and presentations preparation
Profile and Skills to Success
Bachelor or Master's Degree in Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics or any similar areas
Advanced level of English fluency, both oral and written
Experience using Microsoft Office Tools, particularly Excel, Word and Powerpoint
Great verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills
Reliability and capacity to deliver results with strict deadlines, polyvalent, flexible and able to adapt
About the Team
Our mission is to cover all aspects related to accounting, performance management, tax and invoicing in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring - among several other aspects - that BNP Paribas' financial statements are in compliance with the Portuguese legislation, and providing support for management decisions. Besides the local business of the branch, we provide a dedicated support to all the hosted services, namely in what concerns tax and tax invoicing.
