Financial Controller
We are seeking a highly skilled and
- oriented Financial Controller to join our dynamic group of Portuguese technology companies. This role will be key in financial planning, reporting, and performance control, providing strategic insights to support the growth and transformation of the group.
The ideal candidate is analytical,

- on, with proven expertise in Power BI and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Navision), fluency in English, and the ability to thrive in a
- changing and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing process, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with SNC/IFRS.
- Design and deliver management reports, KPIs, and Power BI dashboards, translating financial data into actionable business insights.
- Oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes, partnering with operational teams to drive performance.
- Manage
- company consolidation and ensure robust financial controls and statutory compliance. - Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and automation initiatives, acting as a key user and business partner for ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central).
- Support strategic projects with financial modelling, scenario analysis, and business case preparation.
- Act as a change agent, actively contributing to process transformation, efficiency gains, and best practice implementation across the finance function.
Must-Have Requirements
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) - essential for international reporting and stakeholder management.
- Advanced Power BI skills - experience in building dashboards, data models, and advanced financial analytics.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Navision) - strong ERP knowledge and reporting expertise.
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and strategic thinking ability.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in controlling, FP&A, or audit (Big4 experience is a plus).
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Management (Master’s degree, TOC, or CPA qualification is a plus).
Nice to Have
- Fluency in Spanish – a strong plus given the group’s international exposure.
- Proven ability to thrive in environments of change and transformation, with a passion for process improvement, automation, and value creation.
- Experience in
