Financial Data Projects – IT Designer - PORTO role at BNP Paribas CIB. You will join the Finance Implementation Projects (FIP) teams within the Finance & Strategy function to lead

- end implementation of business and regulatory projects, contribute to the Finance strategy, and help harmonize the Finance operating model across the BNPP Group. The role supports migration projects within the Europe, Asia, and Americas regions and collaborates with a global FIP community to ensure a consistent approach across geographies.

Responsibilities

  - end implementation of business and regulatory projects by responding to Business Line and Finance requirements.
• Contribute to transformation initiatives in line with the Finance strategy.
• Implement and maintain a harmonized Finance operating model across the BNPP Group.
• Contribute to migration projects relying on the regional setup in Europe, Asia, and Americas.
• Collaborate with a FIP community worldwide to ensure a consistent approach of Finance projects across geographies.
• Analyze requirements from Business Line or Finance, based on project framing notes; perform technical gap analyses and impact studies.
• Collaborate with FIP Business Analysts to organize meetings/workshops with stakeholders to design technical solutions, respecting methodology and standards.
• Document technical specifications for the financial accounting interpretor; parametrize accounting and reporting rules according to norms and systems.
• Contribute to the testing strategy and perform unit and integration tests; provide aftercare support to Finance end users

• Support Project Managers and Business Analysts in implementing outcomes and following up with stakeholders; participate in project committees and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.

Profile and Skills to Success

• Master’s degree or Engineering degree.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in the banking sector or in consulting.
• Experience as Systems Analyst or Business Analyst on projects; knowledge of financial information systems.
• Proficient knowledge of AIS / RDJ Axway software; proficiency with Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, Power
  Point).
• Knowledge of mainframe MVS programming tools and inquiry tools (Business Objects).
• Strong collaboration, attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills; able to lead and facilitate meetings and trainings.

• The Finance & Strategy (F&S) function ensures production and publication of accounting and financial management statements for the Group, supporting financial and tax optimization and external growth strategy, with an alert role to General Management.
• F&S comprises over 1800 employees across regional platforms (America, Europe, Asia/Pacific), a Shared Finance Service Center in India, and central and decentralized Finance, Tax, and Development departments worldwide.
• The Infinity EMEA Finance & Strategy Platform serves as a regional and group platform delivering services across accounting production, reporting, control, transformation projects, IT, and GDO; located in Madrid and Lisbon.
• Your team will be part of the main FIP Capital Market Products or FIP Banking Products groups to align with business lines and divisions.
