Overview

The Finance & Strategy function (F&S) ensures the production and publication of accounting and financial management statements necessary for the management of the Group, financial and tax optimization along with the external growth strategy. It also plays an alert role
- à-vis the General Management. F&S comprises more than 1, 800 employees specialized in Accounting, Reporting, Performance Steering, Tax, Control, Regulatory and Project work. F&S is organized around regional platforms (Americas, Europe, Asia/Pacific), a Shared Finance Service Center in India, with centralized and decentralized Finance, Tax and Development teams across BNPP presence. The Infinity EMEA Finance & Strategy Platform is the Regional EMEA mutualized platform delivering services covering accounting production, reporting, control, transformations, IT and GDO for EMEA countries and worldwide entities when needed. The platform is located in Spain and Portugal.

• Role within BNP Paribas Group: ensure production/publication of accounting and financial management statements; support management, financial/tax optimization and external growth; provide early alerts to General Management.
• Scale and structure: +1, 800 F&S professionals; regional platforms; shared service center; central and local finance, tax and development teams.
• Infinity EMEA platform scope: accounting production, reporting, control, transformation projects, IT and GDO; serves EMEA countries, CFOs, Group Head Office and project needs.

Your Main Activities

• Analyze requirements from Business Line or Finance based on the framing note of the FIP Project Manager.
• Perform technical gap analysis and impact studies to contribute to the FIP framing note.
• Collaborate with FIP Business Analyst to organize meetings/workshops with stakeholders to design the technical solution, respecting methodology and standards.
• Document technical specifications for the financial accounting interpreter.
• Parametrize accounting and reporting rules according to norms and systems.
• Contribute to testing strategy to ensure quality of implementation; perform unit and integration tests.
• Provide aftercare support for Finance end users
  - delivery and support Project Managers/Business Analysts in implementing outcomes.
• Participate in project committees, sharing actions and decisions; facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.

Profile And Skills To Success

• Business School or Master’s degree or Engineering degree completed.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in banking or consulting.
• Experience as Systems Analyst or Business Analyst on projects.
• Knowledge of financial information systems; AIS / RDJ Axway software; mainframe MVS tooling.
• Proficiency with Office suite and inquiry tools (Business Objects).
• Fluent in English (verbal and written); strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail, rigor, good organizational and communication skills; analytical ability; ability to manage and facilitate meetings and trainings.

• Finance Implementation Projects (FIP) teams lead
  -
  - end implementation of business and regulatory projects; contribute to transformation initiatives; harmonize Finance operating model across BNPP; participate in regional migration projects; collaborate with a global FIP community.
• FIP teams serve the BNPP Group across entities such as BCEF, BNL, BPLS, BPSS, CIB, FORTIS, IRB, PF, PI.
• FIP Portugal includes three main teams (Corporate Banking, Retail Banking, Capital Markets) and a transformation plan to move project activities from Paris to Portugal by 2025; IT Designers join FIP Portugal with a
  - year integration program. The program aims to develop knowledge and provide career options within Finance & Strategy.
