We are seeking a talented individual to join our Specialties Broking team at Marsh. This role will be based in Lisbon. It is a hybrid role requiring at least three days a week in the office.

Responsibilities include:

• Structuring bespoke insurance programs for clients and prospects;
• Negotiating terms and conditions with insurers and reinsurers;
• Developing and implementing strategic placement plans;
• Critically analyzing insurance offers;
• Identifying new business opportunities.

Requirements:

• A degree or master's in law, business administration, or economics;
• Two to three years of experience in the insurance market (broker or underwriter);
• Knowledge of broking and placement processes;
• Understanding of the Property & Casualty insurance market;
• Proficiency in English and Portuguese.

Preferred skills:

• Experience with Financial Lines insurance, including Directors’ & Officers’, Professional Liability, Bankers’ Blanket Bond, Crime;
• Critical thinking and prioritization skills;
• Drive to find the best solutions in a structured way.
