Ops Operations Specialist (Lisboa -1/week)

Technical background in cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure). You will bridge the gap between Engineering (Cloud/Dev
Ops/SRE) and Finance, driving cloud cost governance, architecture optimization, and
- driven
- making.

*This is not a pure finance or reporting role — we need someone who understands the technical impact of cloud architecture on costs and can act on it.

Skills:

+4 years of experience in AWS or Azure cloud environments (architecture, Dev
Ops, or SRE roles);

Fin
Ops practices (cost optimization, chargeback/showback, budgeting, cloud billing reports);

Infrastructure-as-Code principles (Terraform/Ansible);

Observability platforms (Grafana/Datadog/Azure Monitor/Cloud
Watch), related to cost and resource usage;

Command of Power BI and SQL for data modeling and reporting;

Fluent in English;

Your Responsibilities:

✅ Monitor and analyze
- cloud consumption using AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, Grafana, Datadog , and custom dashboards;

✅ Closely with Cloud Engineering, SRE, and Dev
Ops teams to identify inefficient resource usage and drive
- saving actions;

✅ Implement and manage cost optimization strategies : RI/SP planning, Spot instances, autoscaling, storage tiering, compute rightsizing, etc;

✅ Ensure cloud infrastructure is provisioned using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) following
- aware standards;

✅ Create and maintain dashboards and reporting for cost, usage, efficiency, and forecasting;

✅ Develop and enforce tagging strategies, usage policies, and budget alerts across cloud environments;

✅ Support product and platform teams in cost modeling and budgeting for workloads and environments;

✅ Contribute to the evolution of the company’s Fin
Ops maturity , governance models, and best practices.
