Fitter Technician for Manufacturing Company in Lisbon, Portugal

We are a leading manufacturing company in Lisbon, Portugal seeking a skilled Fitter Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in fitting and assembling various parts and components for machinery, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and repair any issues that may arise.

Responsibilities:

1. Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine assembly requirements
2. Use hand and power tools to fit, assemble, and disassemble parts according to specifications
3. Conduct quality control checks on assembled components to ensure accuracy and functionality
4. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with assembly or functioning of machinery
5. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production processes
6. Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 2 years experience as a Fitter or similar role in a manufacturing setting
2. Proficient in reading technical drawings and schematics
3. Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of hand and power tools
4. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
5. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
6. Good communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus)
